With many years of experience in designing for high end automobile retail environments, we were able to assist the Penske Automotive Group in their efforts to create one of the first showrooms for Smart Car in the United States.
The decision by the car maker (Mercedes Benz) was to make a wide spread appearance in the U.S. market in January 2008. With a release in September of 2007, our challenge was to get the Tysons Corner showroom designed, drawn, permitted and built by that deadline.
The project involved the application of the manufacturer’s marketing, sales, and display schemes to an existing retail space. We worked closely with Smart Car designers, automobile executives, and the contractor to make that happen.
